La Bachata de la Vida

"The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance."

Alan Watts

100 Years of Robots, Cyborgs, and Mechas

With the many changes coming to humanity, it has become more important than ever to empower oneself. The advent of new technology will make many things so easy it won't take much effort. So, what do we do in a system in which we've conflated time, effort, and value? We're going to see it fall apart.

I believe the biggest risk is being highly manageable- meaning people who seek management out of necessity. That is where I see the biggest risk of oppression. People will need to be empowered throughout this societal value shift to find and understand their unique qualities and bring them to the forefront.

We all possess a distinct set of parameters and programs that make us truly unique, and those parameters are incredibly complex. This is where I see technology failing to replicate the human experience, even on a fairly long-term trajectory, given the exponential speed it's currently gaining.

We are multidimensional beings with multidimensional experiences. For example, if I brought three people to my house and asked them to make a simple recipe- a grilled cheese sandwich- I would get three different versions of a grilled cheese. The result will be based on the perception of what a grilled cheese is to the person making it and their past experiences with a grilled cheese as well as their experiences with others making the grilled cheese. They also may include their personal preferences.

My point is that we are constantly receiving both conscious and unconscious signaling throughout our lives. We are constantly taking in data from a multi-sensory perspective. We navigate complex emotions that affect the state in which we integrate the information from our surroundings. We have past considerations to compare and contrast, and on top of all else, we have our common or uncommon intelligence.

This is truly special, and I see our experiential sharing with one another and the connection that comes along with it as the safest space from oppression during this reconfiguration throughout our society. We're going to have to step forward and support one another more directly, and I think that will be a positive shift for everyone. personally. In addition, it would greatly benefit the evolution of our consciousness. In sharing our experience with one another, we transmute darkness to light. Unconscious themes rise up to our awareness.

The next decade will be whatever we make of it and our willingness to change and evolve. Those who surrender to this evolution will ultimately find it empowering, and those who find more comfort in 'how things have always been done' may find it a very challenging time. Either way, we will undoubtedly shift in our values and our ways of being and relating to the world because we must.

Throughout this transition, it will be increasingly important that we remember the beauty of humanity and our connection with the earth. It will be a major time for compassion for each other and ourselves. We must be more aware of decision points in our lives, because there are sure to be important decisions that arise both personally and collectively that will contribute to either oppression or empowerment. It will be important to ask ourselves, 'does this feel expansive or does this feel confining?' We must check in with ourselves as much as possible, because that is where great wisdom lives. The path forward starts with leading from the heart, and the mind will be used in service to the heart.

Change is painful. Pain is changeful.
Pain is Changeful

I did this little scribble few years ago when I was deep in massive transformation of my own life and way of being. Pain is absolutely changeful, but change doesn't have to be painful. I have undergone so many transformations throughout my life that it has become exciting, although sometimes uncomfortable. Every change I've gone through has only resulted in moving me closer to truth and aligning me with a sense of wholeness and purpose.

One thing I do know is that we can get through these changes together, courageously, with love and support to one another.
